Saptrishi Ashram in Haridwar: Saptrishi Ashram is a beautiful place near Haridwar, where 7 great sages or Saptarishis, namely Kashyapa, Vashisht, Atri, Vishwamitra, Jamadagni, Bharadwaja, and Gautama said to have meditated. Ganga, not wanting to agitate them and make possible each her simple approach prefers rather divides herself into seven conduits around each Rishi, and these are known by Sapt Sarovar and these Sarovar flows in the front of Sapt Rishi Ashrams which is positioned next to the Haridwar Rishikesh road. Saptrishi Ashram is an attractive and traditional, a bit rundown ashram about 5 kilometers previous to Haridwar.
